I really like this picture that I found while working on my Germany Unit. It is by Ernst Ludwig Kirchner and the title is "Marzella". I am stressed at the moment and the look on her face is definitely how I have felt for the past hmm..8 hours or so of doing homework today. If I actually get everything done that is due this week, I will be amazed.

Boyfriend, what?!

Hi guys! I am sorry for my laziness in posting. I have been swamped with school work, work, and activities after class. This year I am going to two bible studies and Intervasity. If all goes well, I will also be in the worship band again. Flagstaff is amazingly beautiful right now. The leaves are turning red and gold and the weather is starting to cool off.

I love living in an apartment...I can't even explain to you how nice it is! You guys really need to come visit!!! Well besides that there has been a relationship change for me...the following part might be sappy, so don't read it if you do not like this kind of stuff.

I have a best friend who earned the title of boyfriend. His name is John. He has only been to Chandler a few times, so many of you guys have not met him.

The background: I met him at Spirit West Coast (the Christian Music Festival) this past summer at the end of May. I remember thinking "oh he is a nice guy and he sure loves God". He ended up adding me to myspace and we were just friends for the longest time and we were both content with that. It started as messages on myspace and then progressed into every other night phone calls.

After not talking for a week while we prayed about the possibility of a relationship with one another.. we finally talked about it on Sept 28th and made it official. He even asked permission from my mom if he could date me! Ok, I must say...it was adorable.

The only difficult part of this relationship is that it is long distance. He just got out of the Marines in Yuma so unfortunately he still lives 5 hours away. It has been hard, but we are trying our best.

Alright enough about me. I can't wait to visit Chandler again and see you guys. I miss you a ton!

Its been awhile...

Only 9 days until Flagstaff and I am super excited about it! It will be a unique year indeed...applying to student teach over seas, living in a new apartment, possibly having a new job, friends' weddings, and of course being a kid again in the classroom with all the other rugrats. Woohoo.

So I dyed my hair a week ago and it turned a nice (blahhhh) shade of almost black. I am starting to get use to the dark, almost goth appearance..but I gave in and am scheduled to get highlights on Monday.

Wow, I am like out of words (thats a first). I think not updating in forever has some how made me incapable of being able to write a thing that is interesting or I guess entertaining. Well I give up..I am going to watch King Kong..oh and here are some pictures of my exciting life in the past few months. Happy 4th of July everyone!! :)

Well my midwest vacation is underway. My mom and I have been traveling A LOT. We have stayed so far in 3 different states (Illinois, Iowa, and Minnesota) in less than a week. We leave again this coming Monday for Wisconsin.

Sorry I am so terrible about keeping in touch, but I hope that everyone is doing great. I miss you Arizonians, see you on the 25th!
